Multiple Programs Available!

5 Week Learn-To-Curl

Basic skills of delivering a rock, sweeping, strategy, and playing different positions are covered. Participants will be playing in game situations by the end of the program and ready to then move on to our Saturday Novice League. Curling equipment is provided at no charge.

We have five-week programs on Saturdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Click on the links below to register.

LGBTQ+ Learn-To-Curl Program

VCC offers a learn-to-curl program for members of the LGBTQ+ community in partnership with the Pacific Rim Curling League. The program details are the same as above. It will run for five Saturdays from Sept. 18 to Oct. 16, 4:45 pm to 6:45 pm. 

Monday Novice League

The season-long Monday Novice League also is an opportunity for people to learn to curl. The first five weeks are instruction, then the remaining 18 weeks are dedicated to teams playing in round robins and playoffs based on their skill level.

Saturday Junior Program

VCC welcomes young people ages eight to 18 years old to learn the game, develop their curling skills and simply have fun! The junior program is run by certified coaches and assistants. Kidsport Canada offers support for low-income families. 

Teen Program

The Teen Program runs on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with two 10-week programs in the fall and winter. It is open to curlers of all abilities with beginners welcome. Instruction is provided to those who need or want it and curling equipment is provided.Games are informal with teams put together each week. About VCC

The Vancouver Curling Club is located at Hillcrest Centre in the facility that hosted the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games curling competitions. With eight sheets of ice in a modern, bright and accessible building, the VCC has over 1,400 members who participate in 28 weekly leagues.
