Please do your part for our safe return to curling

BC Proof of Vaccination

  • Following new requirements announced on August 24 by the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) all members and visitors
  • Need to show proof of at least one COVID-19 vaccination by September 13th, 2021
  • And full immunization by October 24th, 2021

As of Dec 22nd all Passports must have the QR code scanned for entry.
Please make sure your QR Code is working!

The BC Vax Passports requirement will end on April 9th.

 

Lower Lobby & Locker Rooms

  • Masks are Optional for the safety and comfort of your fellow curlers and staff
  • Locker Room Capacity Limited to 8 at a time
  • Masks are Optional in the Locker Room
  • Staff will be required to wear masks in these spaces
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available

 

On The Ice

  • Markers will be in the ice outside the hog lines for social distancing
  • Sanitizing wipes will be available to clean rock handles (teams are to clean their own rocks)
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the ends of each pair of sheets
  • Curling will be played by the regular rules/format

 

In The Lounge

  • Update from Dec 22 2021 - Tables will be limited to 6 people. No mingling/table hopping!
  • When not seated Masks are Optional for the safety and comfort of your fellow curlers and staff
  • Staff will be required to wear masks in this space
  • Markers will be added to tables to indicate which have been wiped down
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available

About VCC

The Vancouver Curling Club is located at Hillcrest Centre in the facility that hosted the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games curling competitions. With eight sheets of ice in a modern, bright and accessible building, the VCC has over 1,700 members who participate in 28 weekly leagues.

The Vancouver Curling Club acknowledges that we operate on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish First Nations who lived here before us and continue to live here.
